Dreaming of Retirement

My neighbour retires tomorrow.  I've got a feeling he'll be just as busy doing all those jobs that have gone undone for a while.

Now for a whiter than white reputation

Well after the card before last's ejection, I guessed I should clean up my act.  White on white is the challenge over at Simon Says and looking through the DT cards I went without dinner and made a card instead.  Don't you just love it when it consumes you like that.

This lovely image appears to have got me thrown out of one challenge.  Is this a first I wonder?  So as not to offend again, I shall be entering it in only one challenge this week.  So Kenny Ks Krafty Krew - you are my only hope for this weekend's blog entry, but as it is one of Kenny K's images, surely you can't eject me !

A Spot of Sauce

This Valentine card is a personal joke between me and an old friend.  What luck when someone passed me ribbon with the exact "joke" printed on it!  I used an old Sketch Saturday base as I think it suits the image well.  The image is courtesy of Kenny K.  I carefully removed the present using Windows Paint, and flipped it over in Word.  Again another really simple plain card, but I love it and I know the recipient will smile from ear to ear when he receives it.
